Jurgen Klopp makes subtle take on Blues’ HUGE January transfer nearing £200m

‘They solve problems differently than we do’: Jurgen Klopp targets tomorrow’s opponents Chelsea as their January pageant nears just under £200m and says: ‘I’m not sure they do that in the next 10 years be able.”
Jurgen Klopp delivered thinly veiled barbs ahead of Chelsea’s visit to Anfield on Saturday.
The Liverpool manager tried his best to be brief as he discussed the nearly £200m the Blues spent in the January transfer window alone.
“Chelsea solve problems differently than we do,” he said during his Thursday afternoon press conference.
When asked about the spending of his four biggest rivals, Klopp was diplomatic.
“Interesting,” he said. “I can’t explain it, I have no idea. But if the numbers are right, then it’s impressive.”
It comes as Chelsea travel to the North West after spending nearly £200million this January.
Klopp went on to say that Liverpool will have no choice but to spend in the future to keep up with their rivals but admitted he cannot foresee Chelsea continuing on such a financial path.
“I’m not sure they can do that in the next 10 years.”
There’s more to come.
