Karl Stefanovic calls Prince Harry’s book ‘cheap rubbish’

Karl Stefanovic has slammed Prince Harry’s controversial new memoir Spare after the Duke of Sussex made several damning claims about the royal family.

The 48-year-old Today show host spoke to journalist Sarrah Le Marquand and Tasmanian Senator Jacqui Lambie about Harry’s book on Monday.

Stefanovic, 48, called Spare “cheap junk” and said anyone could “overthrow their family with a disclosure tape” if they wanted to.

“He has every right to tell his story and I’m actually on his side. The point of this book is clear, the whole idea is that everyone held Meghan accountable for every decision they made as a young adult.

“And he says very clearly, ‘I’ve been at odds with my dad since I was 12 years old.’
