‘I love peace and quiet’: Katie Price insists she would keep making money if she went to prison by writing the next chapter of her autobiography

Katie Price has insisted she would keep making money even if she went to jail.

The 44-year-old mother of five says she will write a chapter of her next autobiography to continue making money behind bars.

The former glamor model, who faces bankruptcy court in February, spoke candidly to the Sunday Times about whether she fears jail time.

She replied: “If I do that, I’ll write a chapter for my next book and it will make me money. And I love peace and quiet.

“That’s my attitude. Here you go. Answer that.’

She then added: “Well if they just want to move on then just put me in there.”

Katie was declared bankrupt in 2019 with £3.2million in debt from her failed company, Jordan Trading Ltd, which was set up to oversee her perfume and cosmetics line.

She founded the company in 2003 However, in 2017, the company filed for dissolution as she tried to settle her finances.

When declared bankrupt, she vowed to repay £12,000 a month to the firm’s creditors through an individual voluntary arrangement.

The bankruptcy meant Katie, who was once worth £45million, had to lose her £2million, 11-bedroom mansion.

She took out a second mortgage on the property in 2015 but was faced with monthly payments of £12,300.

In June 2022, the former model was due to explain to a judge in the Royal Court of Justice why she failed to repay millions owed to creditors.

However, the hearing was adjourned at the last minute and her lawyers gave no reason for Katie’s non-appearance in court.

Despite her bankruptcy, Katie has apparently lived a lavish life, including exotic vacations to Las Vegas and Thailand.
