Last photo of the victims of the Gold Coast Sea World helicopter crash before boarding

A haunting final photo emerges of a mother who died on a doomed helicopter flight, holding up her Sea World ticket next to her excited young son, now fighting for his life in a coma
The last photo of a mother and her son before a horror helicopter crash changed their family’s lives forever shows them with a ticket to the deadly journey.
Sydney’s mother Vanessa Tadros, 36, and her son Nicholas, 10, took their last picture together just before boarding a helicopter flight at Gold Coast Sea World on Monday afternoon.
Her flight spent a full 20 seconds aloft before crashing into another Sea World helicopter, whose rotor blades cut into the other plane’s cabin and ripped off its own rotor assembly and gearbox.
Mrs Tadros, pilot Ash Jenkinson and British couple Ron and Dianne Hughes tragically died in the crash.
Seriously injured with his father Simon Tadros, Nicholas revealed on Wednesday the little boy is in critical condition and is still unaware his mother has died.

“He’s not well, he’s on life support. I’m not in a good headspace at all,” he told the Daily Telegraph.
A cousin of Nicholas said several other family members went to Sea World with Ms Tardos and their son but did not board because of long waits.
“The saddest thing about it all is that the family had to witness it all, there are a lot of them up there together,” they said.
“There are more of us on the Gold Coast, and we also have family members overseas who need to be kept in the loop. It’s a tragedy.’
Ms Tadros’ grieving family has begun closing down their popular Sydney-based event planning company, Vee Vee Creations.
“It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have to inform everyone of the passing of my beautiful wife and mother to my son Vanessa,” Mr Tadros wrote on the company’s Facebook page.
“Vanessa was one of the victims of the Seaworld helicopter crash that occurred on the Gold Coast a few days ago. While my son is fighting for his life in the intensive care unit at Gold Coast Hospital.
“As a result, Vee Vee Creations will close. I will go through Vanessa’s records to see which events need refunds or cancellations. I’m sorry this caused any inconvenience.’
More than 200 of Ms Tadros’ clients commented below the post, wishing her struggling family the best.
“My sincere condolences, Simon. I’m still in shock, Vanessa was a beautiful person and she will be so missed. I hope your little boy pulls through. Send prayers for him,” one person wrote.
“This is really terrible news. Absolutely devastating for you and all your loved ones. I hope your son can pull through and your family can find joy and light in your future again after this tragedy,” commented another.
