Lauren Boebert is accused of telling Marjorie Taylor Greene: ‘Get the f**k from my face’

US. Rep. Lauren Boebert has been accused of telling Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene to “get the shit out of my face” during the House vote.

Amid a series of contentious voting sessions that saw Kevin McCarthy fail 14 times to become speaker of the House before succeeding, GOP congressmen were caught opposing each other when Boebert was one of the reluctant voters.

Cameras captured the moment Greene, a staunch supporter of McCarthy, rolled her eyes and patted Boebert on the shoulder, telling her, “You have to stop.”

Boebert only gives a prompt reply before staring straight ahead, leading viewers to suspect that her fellow Freedom Caucus cursed her.

It was just one of Friday night’s heated moments on the final day of voting that followed Rep. Mike Rogers of Alabama, who impeached Rep. Matt Gaetz, whom McCarthry asked not to delay his certification any longer.

The confrontation with Boebert wasn’t the only time Greene clashed with her peers during Friday night’s vote.

Greene also reportedly went to Arizona Rep. Matt Rosendale and told him Donald Trump was on the phone. A shot of Greene waving her phone showed that she was on the phone with someone who said “DT.”

Rosendale, one of the earlier holdouts, was seen brushing them off.

According to Politico, a person familiar with the exchange said Trump told the group to “call it off.”

After exchanging with Greene, Boebert and Gaetz left GOP heads frustrated as they voted against McCarthy, forcing him to call for the 15th and final vote.

It was around this time that Rogers pounced on Gaetz for delaying certification again.

A visibly angry Rogers, one of McCarthy’s top supporters, had to be restrained by North Carolina Rep. Richard Hudson.

Rogers was reported to tell Gaetz he was “done” for continuing to destroy the speaker’s vote, and was also heard saying, “I won’t forget that.”

Rogers is expected to be named chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, and multiple reports suggest Gaetz withheld supporting McCarthy until he was promised the role.

When asked about it, McCarthy told the media, “No one gets promised anything.” In the fallout, Greene, an ardent McCarthy supporter, told reporters, “There will be consequences” for Rogers’ actions.

Greene added, “Mike Rogers lost his temper and wanted to lay his hands on Matt. And it was indeed Richard Hudson – grabbed Mike Rogers from behind and pulled him away.

She added: “So yeah, that was totally out of line. And then I’m sure it will be done.’

While North Carolina’s Rep. Patrick McHenry chimed in about the scuffle, saying, “I’ve seen three or four moments like — that would even get close to that in my 18 years, and that might have just taken the cake.”

Republican Congressman Tim Burchett of Tennessee said, “I’ll be honest — I will not be threatened by anyone, and if anyone puts their hands on me, I will drop them like a sack of dirt,” Burchett told reporters early Saturday.” “I really will, man. That’s not – I’m not one to shy away from a fight.’
