Lautaro Martinez celebrates his wedding on Lake Como with his Argentinian World Cup Heroes teammates

Argentina’s world champions and Inter Milan stars arrive at Lake Como for the wedding of Lautaro Martinez as the striker ties the knot with Agustina Gandolfo ahead of the Champions League final against Man City

Lautaro Martinez’s Italian wedding featured several famous faces at the beautiful Lake Como ceremony.

The Inter Milan star was joined on his big day by a number of his Argentina team-mates who had won the World Cup, although he claimed there were more celebrations to come in his home country.

Premier League trio Enzo Fernandez (Chelsea), Emiliano Martinez (Aston Villa) and Alexis Mac Allister (Brighton) all traveled to Italy last weekend to attend their boyfriend’s big day.

They were also joined by fellow Argentinian stars Nico Gonzalez, Joaguin Correa and Nicolas Tagliafico, although perhaps the most famous world champion, Lionel Messi, was reportedly at a Coldplay concert in Barcelona on Sunday.

The Inter killer tied the knot with now-wife Agustina Gandolfo who joined the Milan club in 2018 and the couple have a daughter, Nina, who was born in 2021.

“The big wedding is coming soon and will continue to be celebrated in our country.” Agostina Gandolfo I choose you and love you forever.’

The couple welcomed their friends and family to the formal ceremony in northern Italy, and wowed guests against the stunning backdrop of Lake Como.

At first, Martinez wore a suit and greeted guests at an outdoor reception. The striker and Gandolfo then exchanged vows on a picturesque altar.

The 25-year-old swapped his shirt and tie for a white t-shirt as the wedding party moved inside to continue the festivities.

Martinez shared several pictures of the evening on Instagram, including the newlyweds cutting their cake.

Martinez has had a stunning season with the Nerazzurri, with victories in the Supercoppa Italiana and the Coppa Italia.

With 21 goals, Martinez also played a prominent role in Inter finishing second in the league behind Napoli, who had long been crowned Serie A champions.

The Serie A side also reached a Champions League final for the first time since 2009/10 when they secured the historic treble under Jose Mourinho.

The crowning glory of his season was undoubtedly in Qatar in December, when he secured the world title with the Albiceleste in a dramatic penalty shoot-out.

However, it wasn’t just his international team-mates who attended the occasion with the striker, Inter friends Samir Handanovic, Danilo D’Ambrosio and Stefan de Vrij and club legend Javier Zenetti were also present.

Former Nerazzurri star Achraf Hakimi also made an appearance, with the two playing in the same team that Inter won Serie A in 2020/21.
