Lisa Marie Presley and daughter Riley Keough honor Elvis’ birthday at pre-Golden Globes bash in LA

Elvis Presley’s only child Lisa Marie Presley was flanked by Elvis actor Austin Butler and director Baz Luhrmann as they attended a pre-Golden Globe Awards party at the Formosa Café in West Hollywood on Sunday.

The Formosa Café was an old haunt of The King, who would’ve turned 88 on Sunday had he not tragically passed away, age 42, in 1977 from cardiac arrhythmia due to a toxic reaction to codeine.

The 31-year-old Anaheim native – who’s dating Cindy Crawford’s daughter Kaia Gerber – put a protective arm in front of the Memphis-born 54-year-old as they headed inside the historic restaurant.

‘It’s a real choice to keep going, one that I have to make every single day and one that is constantly challenging to say the least,’ Presley wrote in a People essay in honor of National Grief Awareness Day.

‘But I keep going for my girls. I keep going because my son made it very clear in his final moments that taking care of his little sisters and looking out for them were on the forefront of his concerns and his mind. 

‘He absolutely adored them and they him. My and my three daughters’ lives as we knew it were completely detonated and destroyed by his death. We live in this every. Single. Day.’

Benjamin died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound at the family’s $1.8M Calabasas home after an argument with his girlfriend of three years, Diana Pinto.
