Cody Gakpo has been snapped attending training at Liverpool for the first time since his £44million move to Anfield.
The Reds announced the PSV striker’s arrival at the end of December but his transfer was only officially confirmed on Tuesday.
With everything settled, Gakpo was pictured Thursday in his first training session with teammates ahead of his possible debut on Saturday.

With strikers Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz both long-term absentees and Roberto Firmino injured, Gakpo’s presence offers a selection boost for the Germany coach.
Footage released on the club’s social media account shows Gakpo engaging in physical activity, trying out tricks and moves with the ball and grappling with team-mate Darwin Nunez – whom he could start up front against Wolves.

Club captain Jordan Henderson missed the Brentford defeat due to concussion protocols, joined Gakpo in Kirkby and is in contention for Saturday’s game but fellow midfielder Naby Keita was not pictured at the session.
Youngsters Stefan Bajcetic, Ben Doak, Calvin Ramsay and Bobby Clark are all hoping to feature despite the absence of James Milner and Firmino in the matchday squad.
Liverpool are hoping to retain the FA Cup trophy they won last season and face resurgent Wolves who have improved under new manager Julen Lopetegui.
