Gymnast Olivia Dunne has asked fans to be “respectful” after a gang of “rude” teenagers attempted to rob a team bus at an event in Utah.
The 20-year-old released a statement online after mobs of boys called her teammate “Livvy .20” before saying, “You can do this.”
Officials were forced to move the LSU team bus to avoid a huge crowd that had gathered while police were placed in front to help athletes board safely.
She wrote: “I will always appreciate and love the support from you guys but if you do come to a meeting I would ask you to be respectful of the other gymnasts and the gymnastics community as we are just doing our jobs.”

Olivia, better known as Livvy, is considered one of the most influential collegiate athletes — and her fans are coming out to support her in Salt Lake City, even though she’s not on the lineup.
A mother of another Utah gymnast claimed her daughter was “swarmed” by a group of teenagers.
Jillian Hoffman’s mother Jennifer wrote online: “As we walked to the car, the group gushed about my daughter and her teammate.
“They literally told them to their face you’re not Livvy but you will, we can get the picture.

The teens reportedly kept asking if Livvy was leaving the Huntsman Center before chanting her name
“The group also called my daughter Livvy 2.0. They were so rude and disrespectful.
She added that there was no way her daughter and teammates were “harassed, attacked or hurt.”
Other reports claim the team bus was moved so the athletes didn’t have to run into the group of boys lining the outside of the arena.
The teens reportedly kept asking if Livvy was leaving the Huntsman Center before chanting her name.
Olivia has 2.7 million followers on Instagram and is reportedly worth around $2.3 million, according to ON3 Sports.

The New Jersey-born star has been doing gymnastics since he was three and is now one of the top earners in college sports.
Dunne has been competing for years, eventually joining the US Nationals team in 2017. However, in 2020 she retired from elite gymnastics to instead compete at the collegiate level and joined Louisiana State University.
She grew her fan base on social media by sharing a glimpse into her life as an NCAA gymnast and all the glamorous perks that come with it.
