Trump supporters are demanding that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis defy New York authorities and refuse to extradite the former president before his expected arrest.

The ex-president had claimed on his platform Truth Social that he was likely to be arrested on Tuesday on criminal charges related to payments to porn star Stormy Daniels.

He even urged his supporters to “protest, protest, protest” as he raged online about the legal case.

Now, some MAGA conservatives are demanding that DeSantis refuse to extradite Trump to a “Soros DA” until the Florida government can conduct its own investigation — some even say the governor should call in the Florida National Guard to protect Trump.

But so far, DeSantis has remained silent about the possible arrest, even as other Republicans have lined up to denounce the possible charges as “abuse of power.”

Among those calling for action are political commentator Mike Cernovich and radio host Stew Peters.

For his part, Cernovich demanded that DeSantis refuse to extradite the former president and even offered an explanation for the Florida governor to use.

“I will not hand over any presidential candidate to a Soros prosecutor who allows violent criminals to roam free pending proper legal review under Florida law,” he offered. “If it’s legal, extradition can take place, but not a day earlier.”

Peters also tweeted, “If Ron DeSantis is the conservative hero he says he is, he should refuse to honor the arrest warrant for exiled President Trump and send the Florida National Guard to Mar-a-Lago to ensure Trump’s protection.” .
