Maher and Rogan argue over whether Trump or Biden is worse: the comedian says Donald is “crazy and criminal,” while the podcast king says “there’s something noticeably wrong with President Joe.”

Joe Rogan and Bill Maher debated on the podcaster’s show whether Donald Trump or Joe Biden is worse for the country.
Maher and Rogan both agreed at The Joe Rogan Experience that neither candidate was a good option for 2024, but disagreed over who was worse.
Rogan said 80-year-old Biden – America’s oldest president in history – was “mentally impaired”. The Club Random host then replied, “Like the other guy didn’t know?”
The MMA commentator tried to argue that America’s second-oldest president “speaks a lot clearer.”

‘[Trump] could be crazy. He could be a sociopath. “It still doesn’t change the fact that there is something wrong with Biden,” Rogan added. “He makes up words. He stumbles through things.’
“He doesn’t seem to know where he is most of the time.” That’s my problem with him.’
Maher felt Rogan should lower his standards on Biden compared to former President Trump.
“We live in a world where ‘perfect’ isn’t on the menu,” Maher said. “Those are the possibilities.”
Maher even admitted that Trump “looks and sounds a lot more heartfelt and robust.” He’s a city cockroach. The worse he eats, the stronger he gets. You can’t kill him.’
Rogan said Trump was “the only one”. [president] who has not aged appreciably.’ “No, we did,” Maher said. Maher tried to argue Trump was “crazy” and “stupid.”

Maher and Rogan both agreed that neither of the likely candidates for 2024 was a particularly good option. They became combative as they argued over who was worse

“And crazy and stupid are two different things… stupid is ‘Frederick Douglass is alive’ or ‘the stealth bomber is literally invisible,'” Maher said.
“What’s crazy is that it’s important that the crowd at my inauguration was bigger than ever, and I’ll be addressing that for the first two weeks of my presidency, even if there’s photographic evidence to the contrary.” Or, “I will.” steal those documents, put them by the toilet in Mar-A-Lago and fight you to take them back.”
“Or ‘I don’t admit the choice.’ That’s crazy… he’s a criminal too.’
The two also fell out over which of the two presidents lied more, with Rogan saying his biggest problem with Biden was that “he lies a lot.”
Maher replied, “Well, certainly no more than Trump.”
“They’re both lying,” Rogan said. “I don’t think you compare [Biden] “Thinking of Trump does someone a favor.”
“They’re competing against each other, so it’s necessary,” Maher said.
He reasoned by agreeing, “Joe Biden is not a great president,” and continued, “You can’t really believe it.” [Trump] is no worse than Biden.’
“And the Hunter Biden thing is a stinking scandal that stinks to high heaven.” But if you think it’s comparable to what Trump was trying to do, then you just can’t tell the dissimilarities apart.”

Maher responded to Rogan’s claim that the former HBO star was a ’90s liberal and not a “far left” like the current progressive wing of the Democratic Party
Maher spent part of his performance bashing up again bright progressives – this time arguing they are not like “color blind” liberals but instead have a fixation on race comparable to that of the KKK.
He argued that while liberals like former Democratic Presidents Barack Obama and John F. Kennedy aimed not to see race at all, today’s progressives are extremists obsessed with identity.
‘[Wokes] “I think race is first and foremost what you should see anywhere, anytime, which I find interesting because that used to be the position of the Ku Klux Klan.”
Maher responded to Rogan’s claim that the former HBO star was a ’90s liberal and not a “far left” like the current progressive wing of the Democratic Party.
The comedian has plenty of time given the writers’ strike that caused his HBO show Real Time to take an unplanned hiatus throughout May and June before filming halted in July.
He has not returned to the studio yet as the strike continues.
