Manchester United fans FUME as Chelsea reach verbal agreement with Joao Felix

‘I’m sick of this life!’: Man United fans RAGE as Chelsea verbally settle with Joao Felix… but others claim Erik ten Hag ‘didn’t need’ the wanton Atletico star as they banged on the ‘Twilight’ ‘ rental fee
- Manchester United target Joao Felix is close to a January move to Chelsea
- It comes after Cody Gakpo joined Liverpool after being linked with Old Trafford
- Fans have criticized the club for being beaten from a rival to another star striker
- They said the Red Devils have “the most frustrating transfer window” of any club
Manchester United fans have shared their anger after another goal slipped through their fingers, joining an opposing club.
Joao Felix had been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford this January but the 23-year-old now appears set to join Chelsea after a verbal agreement was reached with Atletico Madrid.
United had been chasing the Portuguese star but balked at the loan fee demanded by the Spanish club.

If the change comes about, it will be another bankruptcy for Erik ten Hag on the transfer market
It comes just days after Cody Gakpo joined Liverpool after months-long United ties, while Erik ten Hag continues his search for a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ten Hag wanted Gakpo but Old Trafford bosses declined to raise the required £44million, saying they would only pursue loan deals.
But fans were quick to vent their anger at the Red Devils’ latest transfer loss, with one tweeting: “Let’s all agree Manchester United’s transfer windows are the most frustrating of any club!
“We can never go through with a signing as long as another club is interested in him, we can never be the manager’s first choice! I’m fed up with this life.”
Others added that “enough was enough” and lamented “another star rejecting United”.

While many fans lamented their club’s failure to sign Felix, some felt they didn’t need him
Felix is one of the highest-rated young players in Europe and had some brilliant moments during his time at Madrid, but some United fans seemed relieved he wouldn’t be joining their club.
“He could have had United or Arsenal (although United probably wouldn’t have gone through with it) and he’s picking a team in turmoil? Smells like mercenaries to me,” commented one backer.
There were also those who felt Ten Hag’s side ‘didn’t need’ the Portuguese star, arguing they had been spared a ‘heavy loan fee’ for a player who still needed ‘development’.

Despite their off-field errors, United were in stunning form to finish fourth
Chelsea are expected to pay just under £10million to loan Felix, a character described as “stupid” by one supporter.
United are currently fourth in the Premier League having won each of their last four games.
They will face a tough test in their next two league games when they meet champions Manchester City on Saturday before traveling to Arsenal the following Sunday.
