Maps and modes announced for Call of Duty League 2024

The Call of Duty League announced the maps and modes for the 2024 season, getting fans excited for the new season.
There will still be three modes: “Hardpoint”, “Control” and “Search and Destroy”. At the start of the season, players will only play Modern Warfare 3 maps. These maps consist of remastered MW2 (2009) maps. There have been cases in the past where the CDL has added downloadable content maps, but for now the map pool will consist of six maps.

While the maps are full of nostalgia, they haven’t exactly lent themselves to updated Call of Duty respawn modes since release. Players have openly complained about the spawn system, particularly on maps like Terminal and Highrise. It will be interesting to see what adjustments are made to improve the game’s playability, especially in a competitive environment.
We also know that maps from last year will be added to MW3. Mercado Las Almas and Farm 18 are the first two legacy maps to be added. Mercado has been a competitive map this year, so it’s possible it will be added at some point. Or CDL and Activision refrain from adding old maps so that the focus is on the current game cycle.
