McDonald’s has announced it will be removing two new and popular items from its menus tomorrow, despite customers demanding they stay.
Outlets across the UK will say goodbye to two recent menu expansions tomorrow, although they may face backlash from fans.
The fast-food giant has marked the 40th anniversary of its popular McNuggets with a month-long celebration that also included new dips for the treat.
And although fans have been begging McDonald’s to keep some of these, they have announced that they will be dropping two of the most popular flavors.
From Wednesday 31st May customers will no longer be able to get their hands on the Mega Hot Sauce and Garlic Mayo Dips as these will be removed from UK menus after just three weeks.

Fans will surely be disappointed as the new sauces are proving popular with fans, with many taking to Twitter to share their feelings.
One person wrote, “McD’s needs to keep both the garlic mayonnaise and mega hot sauce on the menu.”
While a second added: “Please never remove the mega hot sauce, it’s the perfect condiment for a Maccas.”
And someone else explained, “They need to permanently make and bottle garlic mayonnaise!” It’s the goat of dips.
“I would even say: better than curry dip.” Please make my dream come true.’

It’s not all bad news for McDonald’s fans, however, as to compensate, they’re launching two new dips on Wednesday.
Following the success of the Mega Hot Sauce and Garlic Mayo, customers can enjoy them Chipotle Mayo and Creamy Ranch.
In early May, McDonald’s announced it would be celebrating the 40th anniversary of its McNuggets with a series of delicious ideas.
For the first time in history, a share box of 12 McNuggets called Douze McNuggs was even served to tie in with the Eurovision Song Contest which was held in Liverpool.
