Megan Thee Stallion was stunned when she arrived at the Vice President’s residence in Washington, DC on Saturday to celebrate Women’s History Month with an audience of female trailblazers.

The event provided an opportunity to discuss women’s economic empowerment and focused on paid family leave as an investment in the future.

Flaunting her slim frame, the 28-year-old superstar arrived in a classic black and blue floral jumper and matching A-line skirt to celebrate Women’s History Month.

The Grammy winner shared a series of photos from the gathering on social media, simply writing “DC @kamalaharris”.

She complemented the look with silver hoop earrings and carried a large black leather handbag.

The Hot Girl Summer singer styled her long dark hair in a braided ponytail.

Megan was invited to the event by Vice President Kamala Harris, who chaired the event.

Harris made history as the first woman and first woman of color to be elected to the vice presidency.

She comes from a multi-ethnic background. Her late mother, Shyamala, immigrated to the United States from India. Her father, Donald, 84, is Jamaican.

Speaking to the star-studded guest list, Harris said, “Women’s economic empowerment is about an investment in our country’s future.”

“When you raise the economic status of women, you raise the economic status of families and communities and all societal benefits.”

The Veep looked dapper in a black and white houndstooth check jacket and a sheer black top.

The event was a key event in women’s economic empowerment and Harris took a moment in her opening address to thank everyone for coming to the event.

Megan rubbed shoulders with Bridgerton actress Simone Ashley, 27.
