Meghan Markle debuts at Prince Harry’s Invictus Games with a significantly slimmer frame

Meghan Markle stole the spotlight this week as she attended the Invictus Games in Germany with her husband Prince Harry.
But it was more than the Duchess of Sussex’s designer wardrobe that caught the world’s attention, as fans noticed that she looked noticeably slimmer than she did at last year’s event.
The former actress, 42, made her first appearance at the Games on Wednesday, showing off her noticeably slimmer legs in a pair of Staud shorts teamed with a J.Crew cardigan that hugged her petite figure.
She later changed into a black sleeveless top and black skinny jeans that accentuated her slim arms and legs.
Meghan’s appearance in Düsseldorf on Wednesday is significantly different from her look at the previous Invictus Games, which took place in The Hague in April 2022.

Although the mother of two has not publicly addressed the reason for her recent weight loss, she has previously spoken about how she stays fit by practicing yoga.
“Yoga is my thing,” she said told Best health magazine in 2016, adding: “My mother is a yoga teacher and I started doing mommy and me yoga with her when I was seven.
“I was very resistant as a kid, but she said, ‘Flower, you’ll find your practice – just give it time.’ I started doing it more regularly in college.”
In the Netflix documentary series about her life after splitting from the royal family and the couple’s new stays in California, Meghan also gave a glimpse into her yoga routine.
The crop showed Meghan sitting cross-legged on a yoga mat, wearing dark leggings and a black T-shirt, and performing one of her exercises.
She told it too Best health magazine that running was an integral part of her exercise routine, but that she had to cut back on this recently.
“As I got older, running put more strain on my knees, so I couldn’t run outside like I used to,” the former “Suits” star explained.

Although Meghan is no longer running, the duchess still enjoys a long hike through the California hills near the $14 million Montecito mansion she shares with Harry.
Meghan also loves eating a healthy and varied diet and has long been a fan of cooking at home.

“In my opinion, there’s honestly nothing as delicious or as impressive as perfectly fried chicken,” she said.
“It’s a game changer. I bring this to dinner parties and make a lot of friends.”
Megan subsequently told the BBC in 2016 that she was in the middle of cooking a roast chicken when Prince Harry got down on one knee to propose.
She also showed off her cooking skills in 2023 by contributing a recipe for lemon and olive oil cake to a charity cookbook.
The book, titled “The World Central Kitchen Cookbook: Feeding Humanity, Feeding Hope,” was part of a collection of recipes selected by Spanish-born chef José Andrés.
