Metroid Prime 4 release date

Metroid Prime 4’s release date is slated for later in the year, but many fans are excited to see when they can get their hands on the next title for the popular Nintendo series.

​Fans got their first glimpse of Metroid Prime 4 at E3 in 2017, but the game’s official release date has remained shrouded in mystery since it was first announced.

Nintendo has yet to release an official trailer or release date for the upcoming title since showing up at E3 2017. Many online retailers state that the game should be available in the fall, but do not seem to agree on when the exact date of the game’s release will be.

Fans can now pre-order the game from Amazon or Walmart, both of which list the game’s release date as December 31 of this year.

Until Nintendo releases an official date, it’s difficult to say for sure when the game will be released, but fans can expect it to be sometime later in the year

UPDATE (9:55 AM AND JANUARY 25):Metroid Prime 4’s release date has been pushed back indefinitely as Nintendo has announced that it will restart development on the game. Retro Studios, who developed the previous games in the Metroid Prime series, will handle the development of the game. While the release date is still unclear, it has been pushed back.
