The Powerball resides in the central dynamo of the Phazon Mines, and since it’s an important part of the weapon upgrades that Samus has access to in the games, acquiring it will trigger a cutscene and its own in-game pop-up.
Immediately after receiving the Powerball, players must use this new power to break through an obstacle at the exit to get to Quarantine Gateway A, the next area.
Players can find several upgrades for the Powerball to make this weapon much more powerful not only for fighting enemies but also for solving more puzzles that arise in the game.
Metroid Prime Remastered was released on February 8th this year.
