Mike Tyson had a hilarious reaction to the result of Tyson Fury’s Battle of the Baddest fight against Francis Ngannou.

The Gypsy King took on the former MMA star in Riyadh on Saturday in one of the most anticipated fights of the year.

Fury narrowly won the fight by split decision with a score of 94-95, 96-93, 95-94, but Ngannou left the fight with much praise after putting in a good performance in his first professional boxing match.

And Tyson – who helped train the former MMA star for the fight – bit back at a reporter after the result was announced.

Tyson was asked, “Mike, how did you shoot this (fight)?”

The former heavyweight star then moved his head towards the camera and replied: “How did you shoot?”

The reporter then replied: “I thought Francis won?”, before Tyson added: “You’re right.”

He was then asked if the outcome had caused Ngannou to be robbed, but Tyson was generous and said, “No, it wasn’t a robbery.” But everyone knows the outcome.’

After the fight, Ngannou, who was praised by Fury for his performance, expressed satisfaction despite the defeat.

He said: “I’m doing great, I feel fantastic.” I’m really happy. I may be wounded, but I am not defeated today – I can bite. I’m just a fighter and I’m ready to fight at any time.

“We can do it again and I’m sure I’ll feel better.” That was my first boxing match, a great experience. There is no excuse, I know I fell short.

“But I’m going to go back and work harder, this time with a little experience, a little more feel for the game, and I’ll come back stronger.”

“At first I was a little nervous about this new sport that I’ve never done before. Now I know I can do this.

“Get ready because there’s a wolf in the house! I’m going to bite some shit.”
