CBS cameras captured the moment Jefferson’s frustration seemed to boil over
As CBS Sports found out, Jefferson is seen ripping off his helmet, swinging it down and catching a sideline officer in the back of the shoulder with it.
Although the action appeared random and Jefferson was not knocked out of the game at the time, Jefferson could still be penalized for the aggressive move.
The incident was one of the standout moments of a horrific night for the Viking man, who was being pursued by Jaire Alexander and managed just one catch for 15 yards on five targets.

Fortunately for Minnesota, however, a place in the playoffs is already guaranteed, despite the 41-17 loss, they’ve already won their division and go into the postseason as the NFC’s No. 3.
In the final week of the season, they face a struggling Bears who have lost nine straight games and will go down as the NFL’s worst team in 2022.
The Packers, meanwhile, face a big final day match against the Lions – and it’s a win for Aaron Rodgers and co after turning their season around and winning four straight games.
