Mohamed Salah has been inundated with messages from Al-Ittihad fans after it was revealed that the Saudi Pro League side are “ready to make him the highest paid player in the world”.
It has been reported that Al-Ittihad is “confident” that Salah wants to leave Liverpool this summer and that the Saudi giants are “ready to make him the highest-paid player in the world”.
However, Liverpool have since insisted their star is not for sale despite attempts by the Saudi Pro League champions.
However, that hasn’t stopped Al-Ittihad fans from taking to social media to convince the Egyptian to swap the Premier League for the Saudi Pro League.
On Twitter, Salah posted a cryptic selfie with no caption – to which Al-Ittihad fans responded.

Al-Ittihad is ‘confident’ Salah wants to leave Liverpool this summer
A fan posted a video of the atmosphere at a game and told Salah: “The train from the biggest club on the Asian continent only passes once, Salah.”
“Don’t miss playing in front of the biggest Asian and Arab fans.”
While another fan followed this sentiment with a similar video, saying: “Asia’s biggest fans are waiting for you Salah.”
A verified Twitter user opted to show Al-Ittihad’s offered tifos to try and sell the club to Salah, telling the Egyptian: “This audience is waiting for you.”
Photoshopped images of Salah in the colors of Al-Ittihad were also shared, with one of him alongside summer new signing Karim Benzema, used as a stalking tactic.
Another edited photo showed Salah cheering in the Al-Ittihad away shirt as fans did their best to convince the winger to force a move to their side.
It remains to be seen whether Salah will remain a Liverpool player until the end of the transfer window as the temptation of Saudi Arabian football lingers.
