NBA insider Shams Charania sweated after his phone was briefly taken away.

During Thursday’s episode of The Up & Adams Show on FanDuel TV, host Kay Adams stole the phone of Charania, the news anchor for The Athletics.

Charania was found to spend more than 17 hours a day on the phone to best ensure that his competitors don’t beat him to the news.

During his time as an NBA free agent, he even went so far as to share a screenshot that showed he was spending an average of 19 hours per day in front of a screen.

After Adams snatched Charania’s phone away from him, the camera switched to show the look of despair on his face as he was disconnected from the device.
