New Fortnite Birthday Reality Expansions: Full List

Epic Games has just added new Fortnite Birthday Reality Augments to celebrate the battle royale’s 6th birthday.

Almost six years ago, Epic Games released Fortnite, a new battle royale that quickly became one of the most popular video games in the world. To mark the monumental release, Epic Games is hosting an in-game party. New quests, free rewards, and even birthday-inspired reality expansions have taken over the game.

Here’s a breakdown of all the new Fortnite Reality Augments added in today’s patch notes.

Check out all the new Fortnite Birthday Reality Augments in the September 19 hotfix:

Players who want to use balloons in tournaments can only obtain them through the Jump Balloon Reality Augment.

The Fortnite Birthday Event ends on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at 12pm ET. Players only have one week to complete the Birthday Quests and receive free in-game rewards, including a special Birthday Pickaxe and Back Bling.

Birthday Cake, Birthday Presents!, Balloons, and the Jump Balloon Reality Augment are leaving the game in update v26.20, which is also rumored to release on September 26th.

As you explore the new reality expansions and birthday quests, you can find birthday presents from the ground and in chests in Fortnite. The item may look small, but throw it to see how it grows. Then break it open with your pickaxe and collect the gifts inside.

Expect to find birthday gifts relatively easily across all Fortnite modes. Epic Games always gives new items high spawn rates. Look out for the pink crates all over the island.
