New Fortnite update scheduled for Wednesday: Early patch notes
Epic Games will release a new update for Fortnite on Wednesday, January 18th, according to recent leaks. Here’s what might be in store.
Fortnite leaker Shiina has suggested the game’s usual Tuesday update could arrive on Wednesday instead. The claim was further supported by official accounts Fortnite status revealed that the new weekly quests would arrive on Wednesday at 9am ET.

Weekly quests in Fortnite are usually updated along with an update every Tuesday.
In addition to the announcement, FortniteStatus also revealed that bonus objectives will award players more XP and reduce the number of stages required for multi-stage weekly quests.

Earlier today, Epic Games announced a collaboration with The Kid Laroi, featuring the artist as part of Icon Radio. The collaboration also indicated that more related content was on the way.
