New update for Apex Legends pushes Olympus out of the rotation

Yesterday, Respawn rolled out an update in Apex Legends that removed Olympus from the current map rotation.

It’s been a tough few weeks for Apex fans lately after battling numerous issues from bugs to server disconnects. Players have reported all sorts of issues that resulted in many not even being able to get into a game, such as: B. Engine Error – UI Images Ran Out of Room popup.

As it turned out, the root of the problem seemed to be with the Olympus card. Apparently the only way to fix the issues is to take the map completely out of rotation.

As of January 19, Respawn has removed Olympus from the map rotation. In a statement, the studio said: “We have released a playlist update removing Olympus from the rotation and replacing it with World’s Edge. This will allow us to continue working on the issue without impacting gameplay.”

At the time of writing there is no indication as to when Olympus will be back. Players hoping to get onto their favorite battleground should keep an eye on Respawn’s support pages for a hint of its return.

For now, World’s Edge will take its place in the rotation, giving Respawn time to fix the various issues taking over the other map.
