New Year’s Eve horror as the body of a woman in her 20s is found in a Melbourne car park

A young woman was found dead under a busy flyover after New Year’s Eve celebrations.

The grim discovery was made in a car park under Melbourne’s Kings Way flyover near the corner of Moray Street and City Road around 4.30am on Sunday.

The woman has yet to be formally identified but is believed to be in her 20s.

Her body is believed to have been found next to a red car, the Herald Sun reported.

Police set up a crime scene and spent the morning looking for leads.

The cause of the woman’s death has not yet been clarified.

It is still unclear whether there are any suspicions.
