A senior producer on Channel Nine’s hit TV show Lego Masters is at the center of allegations of sexual harassment made by a junior staff member.
The woman, who worked as a Lego sorter on the show, claims she was denied a secure job and was treated unfairly for being a woman.
She has now initiated civil proceedings against the production company Endemol Shine, which is also behind other TV hits such as The Bachelor, MasterChef and Survivor. She is demanding $150,000 and claims it is an insecure job.
The junior collaborator claimed the producer showed her a music video simulating sex with a case of cask wine and repeatedly invited her to his hotel room, reports The Australian.
She claimed the producer often bragged about his sexual exploits to other female colleagues who worked on Lego Masters, according to court documents.
The producer has also been accused of constantly making unwanted advances, touching her and asking personal questions during the three seasons she worked on Lego Masters.

The producer has been accused of using his managerial position to make female Lego sorters feel they owe him for their employment.
In one January 2020 case, he told his accuser a sexual encounter with a Lego sorter when she was “used to be skinny.”
In another instance in March of the same year, he allegedly texted her telling her that she was the “main baby” while the other Lego sorters were “babies.”
In August 2021, Lego Masters moved production of its fourth season from Melbourne to Sydney due to Covid border restrictions and was filmed at Fox Studios.
The alleged victim relocated to Sydney from Melbourne to continue working on the show and was living in a dormitory.
She was invited to his hotel room by the producer, which Endemol Shine paid for so she could do her laundry as there were no washing machines in their hostel.
While she was washing her laundry, the producer reportedly came up behind her and put his arms around her waist.
In September, she claimed he asked her to move in with him. She declined.

A woman who worked as a Lego sorter on Channel Nine made the allegations
He asked her if she used dating apps, if she had been married before and if she would date younger men – since she was older than him.
During her tenure on Channel Nine, she filed six complaints about him.
He was allegedly advised to engage in work and not to speak to others about the grievances against him.
No disciplinary action was taken and he was not charged.
As a result, the woman was not offered a job on the set of Lego Masters Season 5.
