A 37-year-old female passenger in a car in a suspected high-speed police chase is the mother of Snapchat hijacker Latia Henderson.
Ashlea Francisco accompanied her daughter behind bars after the mother, along with Kasey Glover, 39, allegedly led police in a 90-minute chase in a white Hyundai Sonata from Prestons to North Rocks in western Sydney on Thursday.
In February 2021, Henderson, along with Kayley Lee Ketley, kidnapped, stabbed and threw victim Nisha Phillips into the trunk of a car with plans to dump her body.
The two reportedly smoked cannabis, filmed Snapchat videos and sang along to music while driving south towards the Belanglo State Forest.
Henderson’s mother remains in custody with Glover after the pair allegedly embarked on a wild cat-and-mouse chase through western Sydney on Thursday. Nine news called.
Francisco was allegedly the passenger in the car during the police pursuit.

The Hyundai Sonata allegedly veered onto the wrong side of the road and ran red lights on some of the city’s busiest highways and streets while police were following it.
It attracted widespread attention as the alleged car chase was broadcast live on a television news channel.
Police said in a statement the chase began at 10am when officers noticed the allegedly stolen Sonata as it drove through Casula in south-west Sydney.
The damaged car was followed, but the police gave up the pursuit for safety reasons.
It was then pursued by the Polair through Homebush, Parramatta and North Parramatta before crashing at an intersection in North Rocks.
Francisco and Glover were in court Friday when it was revealed that Glover had two warrants for his arrest.
One concerned alleged failure to be released on bail, the other for failing to appear in court to face similar charges.
Glover, who was allegedly behind the wheel during the chase, also no longer had a driver’s license.
