Odell Beckham Jr. had an ‘at length talk’ with the New York Jets at NFL owners’ meetings when Brian Daboll reveals he texted the ex-Giants WR ‘once or twice’

Odell Beckham Jr. was a surprise guest at the Biltmore in Phoenix, AZ. at Tuesday’s NFL Owners Meetings, where he had an “at length chat” with Jets Brass.

Beckham was pictured by Boston Globe reporter Ben Volin hugging Gang Green coach Robert Saleh, who posted the photo to Twitter late Tuesday afternoon.

According to The New York Daily News, Beckham spoke to both Saleh and Jets GM Joe Douglas.

The report also said Beckham met briefly with Giants head coach Brian Daboll and GM Joe Schoen on Tuesday.

Daboll was also asked about the free agent wideout, revealing the couple texted “once or twice” this offseason.

The NFL’s reigning Coach of the Year declined to elaborate on the content of those discussions — “These conversations are private,” he told reporters.

“He’s a good young man,” said Daboll. “I think every decision we make, we will make together. Joe and I are going to sit down and talk about it and it has to make sense for everyone.’

Beckham recently told Giants running back to tell Schoen to get in touch with his agent via Twitter to tease a homecoming to Big Blue.

CBS Sports’ Josina Anderson cited Beckham as her source for reporting that he will have “talks” with Baltimore at the Biltmore.

He told her later; “Love was there, good meeting … (many) people and teams I met.”

The former All-Pro wide receiver also met with Rams GM Les Snead and former Cleveland coach Kevin Stefanski and Washington coach Ron Rivera.

Seemingly imminent Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers complimented Beckham on The Pat McAfee Show after announcing he wanted to play for the AFC East franchise.

“Who wouldn’t want Odell on their team?” Rodgers said.
