Olivia Newton-John’s daughter Chloe says she’s “disappearing” for three weeks to work on “mind” and “body” issues… after “neglecting” her health since her mother’s death a year ago

Chloe Lattanzi, daughter of the late Olivia Newton-John, is taking time off to focus on her health.

In an Instagram video posted on Sunday, Lattanzi, 37, revealed she’s been struggling with her mental and physical health lately.

Specifically, she said she “neglected” her “mind” and “body” after her mother tragically died at the age of 73 just over a year ago from a long battle with cancer.

In her video, Chloe – Olivia’s daughter from her first marriage to Matt Lattanzi – stepped into the camera with an elegantly made-up face and a striking lime green tube top.

‘Real conversation. To take care of others, you must first start with yourself. “This is a universal truth, a universal law,” she began her caption.

Heartbroken: Lattanzi, 37, is the only child of Newton-John, who died of cancer on August 8, 2022 after a long absence. Chloe said she has “neglected” her health since her mother’s death.

“I’m looking forward to coming home to my strength. See you for the walk!’ She continued, referring to her mother’s “Walk for Wellness,” which is the 10th event raising funds for the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness & Research Centre.

The organization provides cancer treatments and is engaged in research into the disease, but also focuses on providing holistic health support to patients, which can include acupuncture and massage, as well as music therapy.

The next walk will be held in Melbourne, Australia on October 8th.

“I’m looking forward to returning to health and wellness,” she continued. “We never know what a person’s inner world really is like.” Please take care of you and your ability to heal others and be more powerful than you could ever have imagined will follow. Take it easy. Take it slow. “It’s easy, my dears.”

But in her video, Chloe spoke more personally about the impact her mother’s death appears to have had on her health and well-being.

“I haven’t been well since the death of my mother and the year and a half that she was ill with cancer,” she admitted.

She apologized for not calling back, then said she suffered from “more extreme memory loss” and had “difficulty getting out of bed.”

“I kept my commitments, but I neglected myself,” she said.

“One of the most important messages my mom sent was, ‘Take care,'” Chloe continued. “If you don’t take care of yourself, you cannot give your full love, wisdom, kindness and strength to everyone else.”

She added that she plans to “disappear” from public view for some time after the walk to focus on her recovery.

“After the walk, I’m going to disappear for about three weeks just to honor my mind, body and spirit because I have some health issues in my mind and body,” she said.

Chloe ended her video with a somber apology to those closest to her.

“I just wanted to say to anyone I disagreed with, I’m so sorry.” “I wasn’t consistent with myself and I wasn’t taking care of myself,” she concluded.

“In the spirit of my mother and the Wellness Walk, I will take a month to do this so that I can fully support everyone else.”

Lattanzi made it clear just last week that she still thinks of her mother as she wore a Hervé Léger dress to the LA premiere of new film Deltopia on Thursday.

She wore the same piece of clothing back in 2016 when she attended an LA premiere with Olivia.

The legendary singer and actress died on August 8, 2022 at her home in Santa Ynez, California. Her death was announced on social media by her husband, John Easterling.

Olivia fought several brave battles with cancer. After first being diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992, she was successfully treated and went into remission.

However, she later revealed that the cancer had returned in 2013, although she has recovered from it.

Her last battle with the disease began when she was diagnosed with a recurrence in 2017. This time the cancer progressed to stage IV – the most advanced – and spread to her bones.
