Overwatch 2’s Battle for Olympus event is still ongoing, and by the end of the week players will have discovered which hero is the most godlike of them all.
As part of the event, Blizzard introduced a leaderboard that ranks individual heroes’ scores in the new limited-time Deathmatch mode. At the end of the event, the hero who tops the leaderboard will be honored with a marble statue that players can see on the Ilios Ruins map. Players also have the opportunity to complete a new Battle Pass and challenges to earn new cosmetics.
As the Battle for Olympus event comes to a close, Junker Queen leads the field after racking up over 32,000,000 eliminations during the event. Introduced last year, the hero quickly became a fan favorite, bringing a powerful melee fighter to Overwatch 2. For the Battle for Olympus event, Junker Queen got the Zeus skin and a powerful boon for her Rampage ability. This has allowed players to dominate the leaderboard and rack up eliminations throughout the event.
Blizzard noted that there was a small issue with their data collection method, which was tracking the wrong stats for the event, but the issue has since been fixed. The rankings in the leaderboards have not changed, leaving Junker Queen with a comfortable lead.
Second-place heroine Pharah has just under 2,000,000 fewer eliminations than Junker Queen, and it’s doubtful she’ll be able to close the gap. However, the event lasts for almost a full week, and there could be a surprise comeback where Pharah or another hero can dethrone the Junker Queen and become ruler of the Olympians.
