A group of Oxford United fans thrilled the footballing community on Monday night when they found a cheeky way to watch their side’s FA Cup clash with Arsenal to a packed Kassam Stadium.
The west end of the site is known to house a parking lot rather than a grandstand, and a cold-looking group of fans took advantage of this as they stood on a car to watch the game from outside the site.
It drew laughter from the commentary team and two passing officials as Oxford were beaten 3-0 against Premier League leaders Arsenal despite a brave performance.

Fans were equally delighted by the show of support on Twitter, with several tweeting it was “the magic of the FA Cup” and ‘why we love the third round’.
Despite the result, Oxford boss Karl Robinson was happy with the way his side have struggled, telling ITV: “My players have made football club proud, we have struggled in all areas of the game, we haven’t gone that far looked apart a top-level team.’
Victory for Arsenal means they will meet title rivals Manchester City in the fourth round of the cup.
