Paige Spiranac reveals she dislikes working with male athletes due to ‘disgusting sexual’ rumours

Golf glamor girl Paige Spiranac has revealed she receives “nasty” comments every time she’s pictured with male athletes or celebrities.

The 29-year-old has taken the sport by storm, posting glamorous photos on the golf course in tiny, fitted skirts and plunging tops and amassed 3.7 million Instagram followers, earning her the title of ‘World’s Sexiest Woman’ .

However, the influencer has revealed that her rapid rise to fame in golf came at a price.

The former pro said she would be “so crushed” to play a match with Tiger Woods or Tom Brady in an Instagram Q&A on Monday, but revealed she had to be wary of the rumor mill.

She claimed that whenever she works with a man, “disgusting sexual” rumors are spread, making her feel like she can’t attend certain events.

“One thing that people don’t talk about when they’re a woman in a male-dominated industry, whether it’s golf or sports, is that every time I’m comfortable with another man, rumors and Comments pop up, and it’s all disgusting sexual stuff,” Spiranac said Monday in an Instagram Q&A via the New York Post.

“And so I feel like because of the rumor mill and all that stuff, if there are male athletes and male celebrities, it bans me from attending certain events or being invited to them.

“It’s just so unfair, and every time I’m pictured with another man… the comments are just disgusting. It’s really frustrating because I don’t feel like I can interact with people normally. … I don’t want to start any of these rumors for me or for them. I just wish people could be normal and realize that this could just be a male-female working relationship with nothing else happening.

The blonde beauty doesn’t shy away from the fact that her platform stirs controversy and has regularly attacked trolls on social media.

Spiranac added that “no matter what I do, people will criticize it,” so she’s tried to block out the haters as best she can.

“I don’t care what people think of me. Will they take me seriously? No. They never did, and who cares if they do now,” she added.

Spiranac recognized earlier that their target audience is predominantly male.

After topping the list of male-dominated golfers with the most followers on Instagram, Spiranac responded, “It’s hot right now. Men like golf and boobs.”

However, the Colorado native has admitted that there are downsides to her popularity.

She had to warn her fans about fake impersonation accounts posing as her to steal money from them, claiming she had to “report at least 20 fake accounts every day.”

She previously said she felt traumatized after a “Karen” verbally abused her about her outfit during class. The ex-pro said she was physically devastated after being singled out by an elderly lady at a country club who thought Spiranac was wearing an inappropriate outfit.

She was also targeted by vile trolls who called her “fat” and “ugly” after she was named Maxim’s sexiest wife.

She claimed that she was stalked by a group of girls while she was in college and was forced to delete her Instagram and change her name, which is why she now calls Paige Renee on the platform.

She married personal trainer Steven Tinoco in 2018. The blonde beauty revealed that he had supported her efforts on social media and even encouraged her to “show a little more cleavage”.

But in June 2022, she announced that she had secretly split from Tinoco. Though it’s unclear when the former couple split, Spiranac said during a Q&A session on her podcast that she hadn’t been married for “a very long time.”

Freshly single and forming a golf power couple with Woods could be an option. The betting odds for this are +25,000, according to TMZ, after Woods split from his ex-girlfriend of six years, Erica Herman, who is suing him over an NDA she was allegedly forced to sign.
