Mary McCartney has admitted her father Paul McCartney was amused when her pony Jet “embarrassed himself” while re-enacting the Beatles’ famous Abbey Road snap.

The 53-year-old shared how she brought her beloved Jet to the famous recording studio, who couldn’t resist recreating the famous Beatles album cover along the way.

In the upcoming Disney+ documentary If These Walls Could Sing, her father laughs about how the little horse “fell out of favor” on the pedestrian crossing.

He says: “We lived nearby and had this little pony called Jet. We came here for something to do and [Mary] just brought jet. He “made” the crosswalk. I think he made a fool of himself with it.”

Photographer Mary – whose mother is the late Linda McCartney – continued to tell the Times: “When the Beatles split up my mother was pregnant with me and she would have gone to Abbey Road.

“Then my parents went back to record with Wings and I came and visited them, made around and went back home. I must have brought Jet with me once.’

If These Walls Could Sing unveils the “untold story of Abbey Road Studios,” still considered “the heart of the music industry,” according to Disney+.
