A driver has fallen 70 meters after going off a cliff in Queensland – but miraculously survived.

The woman, in her 60s, was driving in Peachester, near Beerwah on the Sunshine Coast, when she went off the road.

She is being evaluated by paramedics for possible neck and spine injuries.

The Queensland Ambulance Service confirmed they took part in a single vehicle rollover that was reported on Peachester Road around 11.22am on Monday.

“A stable patient is being assessed at the scene while a rescue is underway,” QAS said.

“Peachester Rd near Ocean View Park is currently closed in both directions following a vehicle rollover with emergency response teams currently on the scene.” Added Queensland Police.

“Drivers are advised to avoid the area and follow all traffic signs provided.”
