“It’s weird, when we go to sleep, of course I’ll talk.” And then he just wants to stop talking.

“And then of course — I’ve slept in the same bed as him for 17 years now — so I just stop talking while he says his prayer and then just get on with my conversation.”

“I’m saying it in my head,” Peter explained.

Abbey pleadingly admitted, “I’m dying to know what it is.”

Peter kept it discreet and quipped, “It’s private, isn’t it?”

Abbey refused to give up and continued to press on what exactly her husband was praying for.

She surmised, “He’ll say, ‘Dear God, can you please take care of all my loved ones?’

“I just want to say thank you for my house and happiness. Can you please take care of my family and loved ones and blah blah?”

Peter revealed: “Not far away. I think it’s nice to just appreciate what you have.”

Continuing her guessing game, Abbey asked, “Did it start with ‘Please god please can I be a footballer?'” I’ll do anything if you make me a footballer.’

Struggling to suppress his smile, Peter admitted, “It helped a little.” As a kid, I actually asked for it. You literally nailed it.’

“Because I know you,” Abbey replied smugly at finally getting her answer.

Providing more details, Peter continued, “That’s how it started, but that’s what happened, didn’t it?”

“And then I was like, ‘Oh my god, I believe in him! I better start thanking him!’”

Obviously, Peter’s prayer paid off as he became a professional footballer for over 20 years, playing for clubs such as Aston Villa, Liverpool, Tottenham and others.

He has scored over 100 Premier League goals, won 42 caps for England and holds the record for most headed goals in Premier League history.

Last month, Abbey shocked fans when she revealed her husband sent her three emojis to tell her he wanted to have sex.

Abbey said her boyfriend would often send her a beaver emoji followed by an eggplant emoji when they were alone in the house.

She said, “I just don’t know how long I can last with those sexual emojis you keep sending me.”

“When the kids go to school and he hears me put the key in the door I’m in and there’s no one in the house all I get is a beaver and an eggplant emoji text.” I won’t even get the last one say, but you can imagine what it is.’

Peter laughed and confirmed, “There are three emojis.”

“I’ve got some liquid in there,” Abbey said, referring to the splattering sweat emoji while Peter continued to laugh.

“How disgusting is that? Should I say, “Oh yeah, now I feel like it.”

Peter said, “The beaver emoji is the best emoji of all in my opinion.” It’s amazing.’

Abbey asked, “Do you think you’ll be lucky with this news?”

Peter replied, “I’m just telling you, I’ll put my cards on the table.”

It comes after Abbey shared how she ties her robe in the back while she dries her hair to keep Peter from waking up.

The beauty said she used to blow dry her hair naked because the hot air from the machine was too hot for her.

However, her athletic husband is trying to fall in love, prompting her to banish him from the bedroom while she ties her dressing gown in a manner too confusing for the former soccer player to untie in a hurry.

Abbey asked,

Abbey asked, “Do you think you’re going to get lucky with this news?” to which Peter replied, “I’m just telling you, I’m putting my cards on the table.”

She explained, “It’s driving me insane.” I’ve come up with a new tactic with the robe. Instead of tying the belt in the front, I tie it in the back.

“It’s like, ‘How do I untie this thing?’ It works beautifully.’

When Peter asked her why she didn’t want him to admire her, she replied, “I do.” Any other time is fine, but not when I’m getting ready.

“But it’s nice to know that you’re still desirable to your husband after 16 years.”

Abbey and Peter married in 2011 and the couple are parents to Sophia, 11, Liberty, 7, Johnny, 5, and three-year-old Jack.
