Piers Morgan tells Gary Neville to ‘PIPE DOWN’ after saying Arsenal would not win the Premier League

Piers Morgan tells Gary Neville to ‘PIPE DOWN’ after the pundit claimed Arsenal would not win the Premier League and finish behind Manchester United despite being eight points clear at the top – before making him a charity bet in challenged the amount of 5,000 pounds
Piers Morgan has slammed Gary Neville and challenged him to a charity bet after the pundit said Arsenal would not win the league.
The Gunners were eight points clear of second-placed Manchester City when they beat Tottenham 2-0 in a dominant derby win in north London on Sunday.
After the game Neville had claimed Arsenal would not win the league and also said his former club Manchester United would finish over Mikel Arteta’s side.

The TV presenter also challenges the pundit to a charity bet on his predictions
The pundit insisted City would emerge as champions due to their superior depth of squad – before adding he hopes Arsenal will come first.
And Morgan – who supports the Gunners – lashed out at Neville’s prediction on Twitter before challenging him to a bet for a sizeable sum of money.
He tweeted: “Pipe down T-Bag. I’ll bet you £5000 to charity Arsenal do better in the league.
The “T-Bag” reference was related to an iconic villain on US drama series Prison Break – who Neville previously revealed was nicknamed by teammates throughout his career due to perceived similarities in their looks.

Alongside Man City’s title win, Neville said United would finish above the Gunners
Speaking to his own podcast, Neville had said: “No (Arsenal won’t win the league). But I said Leicester wouldn’t win the league.
“You’re not going to win the league. Manchester City will win the league and I think Man Utd will finish runners-up and I know that will annoy Arsenal fans!

“I’d rather Arsenal win the league than Man City. I think it would be absolutely sensational for the Premier League.
“I’m thinking about watching the Premier League, we’ve seen City catch up over the last five years, apart from Liverpool. Thinking Arsenal could come and win it adds to our league, it makes our league great.
“I would love for Man Utd to win but I don’t think that will happen this season.”
Pep Guardiola’s side have suffered a slump in recent weeks – losing their last two games against United and Southampton – while also dropping points against Premier League contenders Everton.
However, Neville backed them to turn things around, believing the depth and quality in their squad would mean they would eventually overwhelm Arsenal.
He explained: “The reality is Man City will eventually have a run. Once they do that, they have to play Arsenal twice.
“When Erling Haaland starts kicking, when City starts purring, when the defense starts leaning a little more than they did and they need Ruben Dias back if they can, I think City will win.

Neville doesn’t think Arsenal will win the league despite the Gunners being eight points clear
“There will be a very difficult time for Arsenal at some point this season. Is it conceivable that Arsenal will continue like this? I don’t think so.
“Could they draw two and lose one in a three-game span and if they do their lead is gone and the pack is done with them?
“I think that will happen. We’re going to see a traditional Premier League season where one side goes out, the pacesetters and then they get pulled back a little bit.”
United went nine games unbeaten in all competitions after Saturday’s memorable 2-1 win over Man City.
They travel to Arsenal next Sunday in what will be another test for Arteta’s high-flying side, who have lost just once in 18 Premier League games this season.
