Planes, shooters and traps return

New leaks for Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 revealed the return of planes, shooters and traps in Fortnite OG.

As Fortnite Chapter 4 season 5 approaches, more teasers and leaks reveal the weapons, items, and vehicles returning to the island. Although Epic Games hasn’t released the season’s main visuals or trailers yet, small images popping up on X tell fans everything they need to know about the retro loot and mobility in Fortnite OG.

Here’s a breakdown of all the OG staples returning in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 ShiinaBR.

Current leaks and teasers for Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 suggest that planes, shooters and traps are making their big return to the battle royale. Although Epic Games has yet to release the season’s patch notes, several images reveal the OG movement and weapons that will shape the upcoming update.

The additions will arguably change the competitive scene more than any previous Fortnite Chapter 4 meta. The return of traps in traditional battle royale modes makes boxing matches even more difficult, and a perfectly placed trap can make all the difference when it comes to engaging an enemy.

Both Ballers and Planes provide additional mobility options that are crucial for navigating the Chapter 1 Season 5 map, especially in Zero Build.

It is currently unclear whether planes, shooters and traps will be available at launch or later in the season.

Further leaks about Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 say that there will only be OG weapons in the season. To the great delight of the community, in addition to the classic assault rifle, the original pump and the tactical shotgun will also return.

It also looks like there won’t be any first-person weapons for the first time in years. Given the dominance of the MK-Seven, Red-Eye, and Twin Mag assault rifles in Fortnite, the return to exclusively classic ARs could be a bigger change than some players expect.
