‘Poolside Karen’ was filmed hurling racist insults at family members who claimed they attacked her “like a swarm of bees” and later found “fake fingernails in her hair” – and says a previously unreleased video proves it

The woman dubbed the “Poolside Karen” for hurling racial slurs at a family enjoying the Fourth of July holiday says the group surrounded her “like a swarm of bees” and her “fake fingernails” were on display during the Attack landed in her hair.
In a new conversation with Inside EditionBlair Featherman, 49, reiterated her innocence following her interview with DailyMail.com and shared new footage that she says shows she was the victim.
“They swarmed over like a swarm of bees, it was very fast,” Featherman said in the new session, adding that the group allegedly stole her phone as she was filming.
The woman also said she later discovered fake fingernails that had been “ripped off” in her hair as the group of alleged “pool hoppers” attacked her.
The incident occurred at a swank apartment complex in Lakewood, Colorado, where the pool is fenced off and open only to residents.
In the viral video of Featherman, she can be seen calling the members of the Hispanic family at the pool “trash” and “lower class slime.”

Featherman shared the new video from her phone with the outlet, claiming the clips show the attack she suffered.
In the video, her legs can be seen flying back as she lies on a lounge chair and is surrounded by a large group.
“I was pushed by a man first, and then the women jumped on me,” she said.
“This is assault, this is assault,” a voice can be heard in the recording.
According to reports, the incident began after she and her boyfriend approached a group she noticed entering the pool area and whom she did not know.
“We noticed there was a party gathering on the other side of the pool that was getting bigger and bigger,” Featherman said, sharing that the complex was having a problem with non-residents coming in and staying “all day.” .
The woman told Inside Edition that she and her boyfriend asked to see the group’s keychains and that after they refused, she told her boyfriend to “call security.”
After that moment, she walked back to her lounge chair where the alleged attack occurred as partygoers rushed over.
“I was literally curled up and trying as much as I could to keep her from getting to me,” Featherman said.
The “Poolside Karen” added that she may have “pulled a girl’s hair” and “poked a few eyes,” but that it was in self-defense because she had “four women on top of her.”

“I completely apologize for saying what I did regarding the pool party,” Featherman said
Featherman’s friend, Devon Corday, called police and asked officers to report immediately about an assault in progress.
While they waited for police to arrive, she said she went to get her phone, at which point the now-infamous interaction fell through.
“I’m running around looking for my phone,” Featherman says. “9-1-1 is called, I see this girl recording me so I grab it. “But then I returned it 5 minutes later.”
Despite calling the Hispanic family at the center of the story “lower class slime” and “trash,” she maintains that she is not racist but still wanted to apologize.
“I completely apologize for saying what I did regarding the pool party,” she said.

In her interview with DailyMail.com, she claimed that the video recorded and posted online by the opposing party was edited to make her look bad.
“I tried to stay silent and not comment, but there are things the video doesn’t show,” said art consultant Featherman.
“I am not a racist.” “It was deceptively edited and stitched together to tell a story that is not true,” she said in July.

The video shows the moment Featherman racially abused a Latino group for hosting a party at a swimming pool in Colorado – an upscale apartment complex where she lives

One woman scratched her hair so hard that her artificial nails broke off, Feartherman said. “I’ve heard people assume they’re pills I’m holding, but in reality they’re her nails I’m showing her,” she said

She called the group “trash” and said they should “go back to Denver.” The ordeal took place at her apartment complex, where condo rentals cost up to $6,500 a month
In the widely viewed video, Featherman appears upset by the group’s presence. “You’re having a fucking Mexican party in a pool,” she screams
At this point she approaches the woman filming before physically accosting her.
“You can’t do that.” “You can’t just record me,” Featherman says before snatching the phone out of the person filming’s hands.
Previously, additional commentary can be heard from the app’s voice feature branding the woman as “racist Karen”, while an accompanying caption asks social media users to help identify her.
The stitched footage then jumps, presumably a few minutes later, to the image of Featherman now being held on one of the poolside sun loungers by a male member of her own group.
While this is happening, she continues to reprimand the family for her presence.
Several surround the woman and argue with her – as she continues to scream and try to confront the now angry group.

She and others present at the scene were questioned by police, but no arrests were made
Amid the commotion, they can still be heard making xenophobic statements like “Get out!” and “Go back to Denver.”
The woman screams and screams for almost the entire duration of the video, which is just under a minute long.
When one of the victims asks her to leave the pool herself, she can be heard replying that she lives in Lakewood – the affluent suburb where the complex is located.
At one point she can be heard angrily saying to the family who had just hosted a poolside party: “I live here, nowhere you ever come from, you fucking lower class slime.”
