Pregnant Stacey Solomon appears to have accidentally revealed her baby’s gender

Stacey Solomon appeared to accidentally reveal the gender of her unborn baby after going for an ultrasound with husband Joe Swash.

The 33-year-old Loose Women presenter, who is expecting her fifth child – her third with Joe, uploaded a video of her scan to Instagram on Tuesday after going to the appointment on Monday.

But Stacey apparently dropped a big hint about their baby’s gender when she argued with Joe about whose lips their unborn child inherited.

While the television personality has yet to reveal the gender of her baby, Stacey, who is eight months pregnant, appeared to refer to her child as “he” in the video.

“Joe and I are sitting here and discussing whose lips the baby has,” she said. “Because yesterday we had to go to the scan to see the baby and the sonographer was so amazing she took the most amazing picture of the mouth and nose.

“And Joe thinks it has its mouth and I think it has my mouth. He has my lips.’

Stacey went on to tell her followers, “I’ll show you the picture in a moment, but whose mouth do you think he has?”

The X Factor star and Joe pouted for the camera. She said, “What’s that face? What the hell does just a normal relaxed mouth do. Why do you look like a carp?’

Stacey then shared pictures of her scan with fans and wrote: “How incredible. That beautiful face. We can’t wait to see you baby. This little one looks so different from any of my other scans…but whose lips are those?

The TV presenter announced on Instagram last week that she is expecting baby number five and her third child with husband Joe.

While explaining the reason she kept it a secret, she said, “We really wanted it to ourselves for a start, but we missed the start if that makes sense.

“We didn’t have to keep it a secret for eight months because we didn’t know for eight months.

“My periods were irregular from breastfeeding, we planned a wedding, then we got married and then just crazy life and it honestly didn’t register.”

Stacey and Joe are parents to Rose, 14 months, and Rex, three, while Stacey also shares son Leighton, 10, with ex-partner Aaron Barham and eldest Zachery, 14, with Dean Cox.

Joe is also father to son Harry, 15, who he shares with ex-fiancé Emma Sophocleous.
