Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will stay in a £2,000-a-night luxury presidential suite with a yoga mat, rainfall shower and 65-inch TV at a five-star hotel this weekend for the Invictus Games in Germany

Prince Harry’s popularity may be waning, but he will be in high gear during his time in Germany for the Invictus Games as he will stay in a sky-high presidential suite at a luxury hotel.
He has booked a £2,000-a-night suite with stunning views over the Rhine and will be joined by his wife Meghan at the luxury residence later next week.
The spacious suite on the 17th floor of the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Düsseldorf will be his base for the next eight days.
On Saturday evening, he will open the sporting event for wounded and disabled military veterans and will take part in the week-long event to cheer on participants in events such as archery, swimming and wheelchair rugby.
Staff at the five-star hotel – which has a sprawling terrace overlooking the Rhine and a silver, bubble-shaped bar – were tight-lipped about their VIP guest, whose popularity in Britain has plummeted after his repeated swipes at the royal of over 70 % dropped to 32% is family.

A police patrol car was parked near the hotel to demonstrate security, which has been beefed up ahead of Harry’s arrival.
Since the games were organized by the Bundeswehr, the German military, there are also numerous uniformed employees around the hotel.
Members of the Games management team are staying at the hotel and Harry will check in when he arrives on Saturday morning after his short visit to the UK.
At the 2022 Games in The Hague, Netherlands, Harry and Meghan stayed in a royal suite at the city’s Hilton Hotel. Invictus management was also accommodated in the same hotel so that meetings could be held within the team.
His presidential suite features a king-size bedroom with panoramic views of the 250-meter-high Rhienturm, a telecommunications tower that dominates the German city’s skyline.
The Presidential Suite features a separate living area, a kitchenette and a bathroom with a walk-in rain shower.
The hotel describes the massive 158 square meter accommodation as a “premium suite”.
There are also two 65 inch TVs, one in the bedroom and one in the living room.
As a fan of meditation and yoga, Meghan will be pleased that the suite has its own yoga mat.
Meghan is known to be a huge yoga fan and gave a glimpse into her routine in the Netflix documentary series about her life after splitting from the royal family and her new life in California.
The suite is also equipped with “plush” bathrobes and slippers as well as a stereo system.
Located in Düsseldorf’s Media Harbor, the hotel also has its own spa that offers cosmetic treatments and wellness packages.
While Harry and Meghan will likely eat most meals in their room, they will have the opportunity to dine at a French-American brasserie, which also includes a RAW bar.

Previous guests raved about the hotel, one of the most expensive in the city.
An American tourist who stayed at the hotel wrote on the TripAdvisor website: “It’s big, expensive and designed for business travelers.” But it also has a hip, stylish side. “Rooms could use a bit of a refresh, but they are luxurious and have great views from the hotel’s harbor.”
Another wrote: “Spectacular hotel.” Excellent location and attentive staff. Very modern. The food service was very good. The best part of the stay was the suite – fantastic views and huge room. One of the best we have ever stayed at. Also good value for money.’
A fleet of people carriers with tinted windows park in front of the hotel and transport the Invictus management team to the venue at the Merkur Spiel-Arena.
The games, sponsored by the US Boeing company, involve over 500 participants from 21 countries.
Organizers expect up to 100,000 people to attend the games, which will end with a speech by Prince Harry and a set of six songs by singer Rita Ora.
Teams from all over the world all arrived in Düsseldorf and were met at the airport by the games’ mascot, a brown bear named Buddy.
The British team, as well as friends and family, flew from Birmingham on an RAF transport aircraft. The 59 members include 15 who are still in military service while the others have retired from military service.
Great Britain team captain Lt Commander James Rogers said: “Whether veteran or still serving, we are a team approaching the Games and I am immensely proud of how much everyone has achieved in the process.” It brought a sense of camaraderie and excitement, as well as tangible physical and mental health benefits.”
