Prince Harry “begged Prince Charles not to marry Camilla,” according to a new book

Prince Harry has sensationally accused Camilla of plotting to marry Charles, assume the crown and leak stories to the press in his bombastic memoir, MailOnline is able to reveal today.
In an extraordinary passage in his explosive autobiography entitled Spare, the Duke of Sussex writes: “Shortly after our private meetings with her, she began to develop her long-term strategy, a campaign centered on marriage and, in time, the crown (with our father’s blessing, we assumed).
“News appeared in all the newspapers about her conversations with Willy, stories that told many little details, none of which, of course, came from my brother.”
The Duke also claims that he and his brother Wilhelm “begged” the then Prince of Wales not to remarry after this The Death of Princess Dianafor fear that she would be her “evil stepmother”.
Charles had tried to win his sons over before asking the public to accept Camilla, the book claims. Amazingly, Harry then says that meeting the future Queen Consort for the first time was like an “injection.”

He writes: “I remember wondering … if she would be cruel to me; if she was like all the bad stepmothers in the stories.
In his book, published in Spain, Harry William also names his “nemesis” and his “opposite” and describes the moment when his father Charles informed him that their mother Diana had died in a car accident in Paris, MailOnline can reveal.

Harry accuses his older brother of being the aggressor during Megxit and claims their relationship is so strained and damaged that the Prince of Wales would just “scowl” at him.
The Duke reveals he held a secret meeting with William and Charles hours after Prince Philip’s funeral in April 2021 – near King Edward VIII’s grave, not understanding why he had emigrated.
His attacks on William and Charles are revealed at the beginning of the Spanish version of his book, Spare. There the book is called “En La Sombra”, which translates to “In the Shadows” and begins with the dedication: “To Meg, Archie and Lili… and of course my mother”.
The book is not due out in the UK until Tuesday morning, but various excerpts have been leaked to the press.
MailOnline can reveal that Chapter One begins after Prince Philip’s funeral in April 2021, where he describes meeting his father and brother in the grounds of Windsor Castle, near Frogmore Cottage, where the Sussexes stay when they are in the UK.
Harry, who calls his brother ‘Willy’ throughout the book, says he came to the UK to bid farewell to the Duke of Edinburgh, but he also requested a ‘secret meeting with my older brother and my father’. He also revealed that his grandmother, the Queen, called him in the US to say, “Harry… grandfather passed away.”
The prince describes waiting near the graves of former King Edward VIII and his wife Wallis Simpson, for whom he gave up the throne, and reflects on what they would have thought of his own falling out with his family.
But Harry says as soon as he saw William and Charles enter the gardens, he said he knew they were there for a “duel” rather than a reconciliation. He claims they would interrupt him every time he tried to explain.
He said his brother’s baldness was “alarming” and “more advanced than mine” and that his resemblance to their mother was “fading”.
Harry then accused William and Charles of effectively gasing him, denying he understood why he and Meghan had gone to the US.
It comes after the Duke of Sussex sparked a wild controversy over sensational leaked excerpts from the book, in which he accused his brother of physically assaulting him.
Harry has described a stand-up argument which he says ended with the Prince of Wales grabbing his collar and throwing him to the ground, smashing a dog bowl with his back. William then reportedly declared, “I wasn’t attacking you, Harold.”
In an excerpt leaked to the left-wing Guardian newspaper, Harry recalls what he describes as being physically assaulted by his sibling, which he claims left him visible injuries, including “scuffs and bruises”.

The angry argument reportedly broke out in the kitchen of his London home, Nottingham Cottage, in the grounds of Kensington Palace in 2019.
William reportedly branded Meghan “difficult”, “rude” and “abrasive” and insisted he was trying to “help” his younger brother during a meeting about “the whole rolling disaster” of their failed relationship and Harry’s row with the press “. .
Harry accused his brother of parroting “the press narrative” about his American wife before a screaming fight that ended in a physical altercation, the book says.
He claims he then gave the heir to the throne a glass of water and said, “Willy, I can’t talk to you when you’re like this.”
Describing what he thought happened next, the former soldier insisted he was scared, saying: “He turned off the water, called me another name and then approached me. Everything happened so fast. So very quickly.
“He grabbed my collar, tore my necklace and threw me to the ground. I landed on the dog’s bowl, which broke under my back and the pieces cut into me. I lay there dazed for a moment, then got up and told him to get out.’
Harry says William then urged him to fight back, writing that this would happen if they were scrapped as children.
But the Duke of Sussex said he refused, claiming William left before returning and looking “regretful and apologetic”.
According to Harry, William then turned and called back, “You don’t have to tell Meg about this.”
Harry claims he said, ‘You mean you attacked me?’ to which William is said to have replied, “I wasn’t attacking you, Harold.
