Prince Harry reveals the necklace William allegedly ripped from his neck on TV

Prince Harry has confirmed he’s still wearing the necklace he ripped from his brother’s neck in 2019 – and showed off the “now repaired” jewelry in a TV interview.

Harry, 38, was asked which necklace Prince William broke by The Late Show host Stephen Colbert in an interview that aired on Tuesday.

Harry said it was the one he was wearing and pointed out the symbolism of each of the three items attached to the leather strap.

“There’s been a lot of talk about the physical struggle you both had when he knocked you on the floor in the kitchen and broke the dog bowl when you fell on it,” Colbert began.

“It says it broke your necklace. Which chain did he break?’

Harry replied, “This one. Which is now fixed.’

Colbert asked him to describe the three followers.

“It has my children’s heartbeats, which my wife gave me,” Harry said, displaying silver plaques engraved with his children’s cardiograms.

“And then a friend of mine in Botswana made this for me that has a tiger’s eye in the middle.”

The tiger eye is said to bring power, inner strength, healing and courage. Some cultures believe it wards off the evil eye.

It is an inexpensive stone found primarily in South Africa but also found in Namibia, Australia, India and Thailand.

Harry has worn the necklace for many years, leading to speculation it was a gift from his ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy, who he dated from 2004 to 2010.

Harry writes about the painful encounter with his angry brother in 2019 in his memoir Spare.

‘[William] grabbed my collar, tore my necklace and threw me to the ground,” he writes.

The furious row reportedly broke out at his London home, Nottingham Cottage, in the grounds of Kensington Palace.

William is said to have branded Meghan “difficult”, “rude” and “abrasive” during a meeting about “the whole rolling disaster” and insisted he was trying to “help” his younger brother.

Harry accused his brother of parroting “the press narrative” about his wife before a screaming fight ensued, the book claims.

Harry claims William then urged him to fight back, saying that’s what would happen if they were scrapped as children.

But the Duke of Sussex says he refused, claiming William left and then returned “with a look of regret and an apology”.

William then turned and called back, “You don’t have to tell Meg about this.”

Harry claims he said, “You mean you attacked me?” to which William replied, “I didn’t attack you, Harold.”

The Duke of Sussex says the first person he spoke to about it was his therapist on the phone.

But he claims Meghan later saw the “scuffs and bruises” on his back from the dog bowl.

He claims his wife “wasn’t that surprised and wasn’t that angry. She was terribly sad.
