Prince Harry says he’s ‘enough for another book’ and had to ‘cut in half’ his telltale memoir

Prince Harry has revealed he has enough material to publish a second memoir, dropping almost half of the material he wrote in a first draft.

The Duke of Sussex told The Telegraph he chose to skip several bombshells because he feared his father and brother would “never forgive” him.

“The first draft was different. It was 800 pages and now it’s only 400 pages. It could have been two books, to put it that way. And the hard part was taking things out.

“There have been some things that have happened, especially between me and my brother and to an extent between me and my dad, that I just don’t want the world to know about. Because I don’t think they would ever forgive me.”

Harry also revealed his motivation for speaking out against the company so publicly in order to ultimately “save”. [his family] of itself’.

He detailed plans to derail the relationship between the royal family and the press, expressing his belief that by doing so he can protect future divisions in the family.

After the dust settled, he expressed hope that he and Meghan can reconnect with his family – even if they don’t particularly like his decision to share “his truth”.

He also hopes he has paved the way for other “spare parts” in the line of succession – namely Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis – to find their own path and purpose outside of their hierarchy in the order of succession.

The news that there’s enough content for a second book will no doubt ring alarm bells in the royal herd after the recent onslaught of mudslinging.

In his memoir Spare and several interviews to promote it, Harry has made sweeping and damaging allegations against his closest relatives.

The Duke of Sussex launched an attempted charm offensive this week, appearing on US talkback shows poking fun at royal protocol to promote his best-selling memoir Spare.

He claimed William attacked him, the King and Queen Consort leaked stories to the press to raise their own profile and – in what has been described as an “own goal” – infuriated the Taliban after revealing that he during of his tours had killed 25 of their own in Afghanistan.

It’s already unclear whether the rift between Harry and his family can be healed — without the added pressure of a second memoir hanging over the company’s shoulders.

Prince William is said to be devastated by the light Harry painted him in, while the king is reportedly reconsidering his previous wish to extend an invitation to the Sussexes to his coronation in 16 weeks.

Harry was reportedly warned by Camilla not to cross the line – and yet she was described in the book as a “bad guy” who needed to “rehabilitate her image”.

His family was reportedly surprised and hurt by the level of detail he was revealing about their life to the public.

Speaking to ITV’s News at Ten presenter Tom Bradby, Harry said he’s open to a reconciliation and even a return to a part-royal role on the condition he can have “open” conversations with his family, which remain private would.

“I don’t know if they will see that [interview] or not, but what they have to say to me and what I have to say to them will be confidential and I hope it can stay that way,” he said, noting that he did not want “open discussions.” [to] Leak’.

The comments were called tongue-in-cheek given all the private moments Harry shared in his memoir.

A royal source told The Mirror: “The irony is apparent to all but Harry himself, it seems.

“It was very little [trust] before those final scenes, but there’s absolutely no confidence in Harry to be brought into the herd.’

It can be assumed that the royal family is unlikely to comment publicly on the allegations against them.

But even private discussions could be off the table for senior royals who fear talks with Harry could be used against them in the future.

Harry told the Late Show that he and Meghan were “forced” to flee “our home country” of Britain to “beautiful California” because of “abuse and harassment.”

He then said, “We’ve made an amazing life here in California, which is beautiful by the way, and America is a great place to live,” before toasting with Colbert.
