Prince William received the license to thrill when he invited Kate for a weekend test drive with a drive in a James Bond-style Aston Martin.
He reportedly took his wife on a gifted, secret drive around Norfolk in an Aston Martin DBX707 – from the automaker loved by Ian Fleming’s 007.
This comes after the Prince of Wales’ outfit, a velvet tuxedo with a black bow tie, drew comparisons to the secret agent at his £50million Earthshot awards ceremonies.
With a top speed of 193mph, the £189,000 Aston is the fastest SUV in the world and the first production car to be built in South Wales in more than half a century.

The Prince of Wales reportedly took his wife on a secret drive around Norfolk in an Aston Martin DBX707 (pictured).
The four-year-old factory provided around 1,000 jobs to produce the fast car.
Bond has driven four different Aston Martins throughout the secret agent franchise, but the DBX707 has yet to appear in any of the films.
The delivery of the SUV was “hush-hush” and was kept so secret that the Secret Service could have carried out the operation, an insider told The Sun.
Wills was later seen zooming through winding country lanes in North Norfolk, they added.
It was reportedly “no coincidence” that the car the King took for a spin was built by Welsh workers in Wales.

The prince was allowed to drive the car all weekend, but rather than eject through an ejection seat and dump the car into a river like 007, he returned the keys after his test drive.
William’s love of Aston Martins is not new. At his wedding in 2011, he took his wife in a vintage Aston decorated with balloons in the colors of the British flag as they drove away from Buckingham Palace.
And producer Barbara Broccoli joked that the prince would be the “perfect candidate” to replace Daniel Craig as 007 after he gave her a CBE in July.
