Priscilla Presley confirms she is keen to be buried next to Elvis at the Graceland estate after her death – after a judge approved her wish

Priscilla Presley has confirmed her wish to be buried next to her late ex-husband Elvis at his Graceland estate in Memphis following her death.

In a new clip released ahead of the airing of her interview with Piers Morgan Uncensored, Priscilla talks about her wishes for her funeral at Graceland.

It comes as her settlement with granddaughter Riley Keough over her late daughter Lisa-Marie’s will was officially approved by a judge today.

One of the details of the agreement is that Priscilla will be buried at Graceland, as close as possible to Elvis’ property.

Piers addressed the argument in her interview and addressed Priscilla’s disagreement and what happened between her and Riley.

He said: “At the core it seemed quite clear that Lisa-Marie had changed her will and not told you. “By changing it she had made the trustees her children, which is perfectly understandable, you knew it simply not.

“So when she dies suddenly, tragically young, and all this comes to light, you were caught off guard, or so it seemed to me.”

Priscilla replied: “Yeah, that’s all. ‘I think Riley will be great, she asked me a few things, like what should I do with Graceland.’

Piers asked: “There might be a problem with the fact that you would one day be buried with Elvis at Graceland. Would you like to clarify? ‘What are your feelings?’

Priscilla added: “My feelings are great, this is what I want and wanted.”

Piers asked, “So you’re going to be buried there?” and she replied, “Yes.”

This comes after Priscilla and Elvis’ granddaughter Riley’s settlement was approved by a judge ten months after Lisa Marie’s death.

The two reached an agreement months ago that resulted in the actress becoming sole executor of her late mother’s estate and owner of the iconic Graceland mansion in Memphis, Tennessee.

Priscilla may also be buried at Graceland, Elvis Presley's home in Memphis, which will now belong to Keough

Priscilla will receive a lump sum payment of $1 million, funded by Lisa Marie’s life insurance policy, as part of the settlement, which was recently formally approved by a Los Angeles Superior Court judge, according to documents she obtained People.

Additionally, her son Navarone Garibaldi will also be a beneficiary of Lisa Marie’s trust, and perhaps most importantly, Priscilla will be buried near her ex-husband Elvis in Graceland following her death.

The publication obtained an unredacted copy of the agreement after Riley’s attorney, Justin Gold, requested it.

People reports that Priscilla will also receive $100,000 per year for her role as special counsel “for her role as special counsel to the Promenade Trust in connection with its shareholder interest in Elvis Presley Enterprises, a non-fiduciary role.”

According to the documents, these payments will be divided into monthly installments guaranteed for 10 years or Priscilla’s death, whether or not Riley ever terminates Priscilla’s special counsel role.

Lisa Marie died in January after suffering cardiac arrest at her home in Calabasas.

It was later determined that she died of a “small intestinal obstruction” caused by bariatric surgery that she had undergone, according to the autopsy.

Back in August, after a dispute with her grandmother Priscilla, Riley was appointed sole manager of the family property as she now owns Graceland.

The appointment was approved today during a hearing before Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Lynn Healey Scaduto. Deadline reported.

Her grandmother filed a petition in January to challenge the validity of her late daughter Lisa Marie’s will.

The two have been at odds since Lisa Marie’s death. Riley is Elvis’ oldest surviving grandchild; Her brother Benjamin killed himself three years ago and she has two 14-year-old half-sisters, Harper and Finley Lockwood.

The lawsuit challenged a 2016 change to Lisa Marie’s will that excluded Priscilla as executor.

Priscilla’s lawyers said she only became aware of the change after her daughter’s death.

The change removed Priscilla and Lisa Marie’s former business manager Barry Siegel and replaced him with Lisa Marie’s children Riley and Benjamin Keough.

Benjamin died in 2020 after shooting himself in the family mansion. According to sources, he was struggling at the time.
