Pro-Palestine protesters cordon off London’s Liverpool Street station as they stage a sit-in campaign during rush hour

Pro-Palestine protesters cordoned off Liverpool Street station in London during rush hour today as they staged a sit-in campaign.

Images and videos posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, show the crowd of protesters chanting, cheering and clapping. Many waved large Palestinian flags in the train station.

Protesters were also heard shouting: “Palestine will be free.”

Hundreds of activists shouted: “What do we want?” Ceasefire. When do we want it? Now.’

Police officers were filmed trying to move commuters along while curious onlookers stopped to see what was happening at the sit-in demonstration.

Sisters Uncut, a feminist group believed to have organized the protest, posted on Ceasefire Now.’
