PSG are making plans for Man City star Bernardo Silva to replace Lionel Messi who joins Inter Miami

PSG plan ‘plot crash for Man City star Bernardo Silva’ with Portugal international – who is under contract until 2025 – considered ‘Lionel Messi’s replacement’

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly planning a move for Bernardo Silva from Manchester City this summer.

The Portuguese forward has two years left on his contract at Etihad but could end his six-year stint at the club this summer should PSG’s reported interest materialize.

The versatile Silva, who can play a variety of roles in midfield and up front, is seen as an ideal replacement for Lionel Messi.

The Argentine legend confirmed he will leave Parc des Princes after just two seasons and join David Beckham’s Inter Miami in MLS.

French newspaper Le Parisien report that the 28-year-old could arrive in the summer transfer window to boost the Ligue 1 champions’ standings in the absence of the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner.

Le Parisien’s report states that PSG boss Luis Campos has named Silva as the club’s main target in the off-season.

The French titans plan to play Silva in a devastating group of three, including her talisman Kylian Mbappe and another key summer signing, Napoli’s Victor Osimhen.

PSG have already closed deals quickly this season, beefing up their attacking midfield with the free transfer of former Real Madrid star Marco Asensio.

However, given his stellar performances during his time at the club, City are unlikely to be ready to part ways with their star easily.

Under Pep Guardiola, Silva developed into one of the world’s finest attacking midfield talents, recording 55 goals and 59 assists in 305 games.

And with two years left on his contract, convincing the club to let him go to a club they are likely to see as rivals in next season’s Champions League could require a sizeable fee.

The 28-year-old is gearing up to lift this season’s title against Inter Milan on Saturday afternoon in Istanbul for a chance to complete a historic treble.
