As Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 comes to an end, new leaks claim that the Pump Shotgun and Tactical Shotgun are returning in Chapter 4 Season 5.
As Fortnitemares 2023 unfolds on the island, there are already numerous weapon changes in Fortnite. Pumpkin Launchers and the Kinetic Blade are back and the new Wood Stake Shotgun can be found in almost every chest. Additionally, the newly added Tactical DMR provides another long-range option perfect for Zero Build.
In just a few weeks, two of the best shotguns in Fortnite history could also be coming to play after years in the vault.
Pump Shotguns and Tactical Shotguns should return in Season 5.
Their animations have been changed in every update since 25.20. This usually happens before a devault (C4s and balloons were updated in 25.20 and were devented this season). #Fourteen days pic.twitter.com/MR7ULMEbmF

According to a reliable Fortnite leaker: Wensoingthe Pump Shotgun and Tactical Shotgun return in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5. Fans have been begging for the old weapons to come back, and it looks like Epic Games is finally giving the community what they want.
The leak reveals: “Their animations have been changed in every update since 25.20. This usually happens before an Unvault.”
Although new versions of both shotguns have appeared in Fortnite, such as the Havoc Pump Shotgun, Sharp Tooth Shotgun, and Maven Auto Shotgun, they simply aren’t as good or popular as the original weapons.
In addition to the rumored weapons returning to Epic Games’ battle royale, other Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 leaks also point to the return of several Fortnite Chapter 1 maps. Instead of making a few map changes next season, Epic Games is reportedly rotating the OG Fortnite legendary maps to complete Chapter 4.
In fact, Epic Games themselves even hinted at the return of the Fortnite Chapter 1 Season 5 map when they changed the timestamp on Kado Thorne’s Time Machine to the map’s original release date in 2018.
The map rotations will be the first time fans can explore old maps and POIs outside of Fortnite Creative 2.0.
