“You feel heavy, you feel hopeless. If walking a tightrope can make any difference at all, I’m willing to go and do it.”
And as she walked the high wire, she added: “Even from the first experience, it triggered fears in me that I didn’t know were there.” “Having the mental ability to jump off a bridge.”
Love Islander Chris Hughes appeared alongside Kimberly in the Lorraine segment as he also takes part in Don’t Look Down.
The reality star said: “I had a live testicular exam.” My cousin initially had testicular cancer so I went ahead with it this morning and the next day my brother went for a checkup and was diagnosed.
“He says he would never have been examined if he hadn’t seen me do it.”
Chris said about the high wire challenge: “You shouldn’t learn it in three weeks.” Our instructor said it takes people months. I knew I had height phobia, but I had only climbed a ladder and scaffolding.
“I think my body – the fear just overwhelmed me and I can’t help but cry.” It gives you a boost and reminds you why you are doing it. So when I’m screaming my eyes out, you know you’re doing this to raise money.”
